A beautiful bundle of antique French papers dating from the 1860s, bound together into a booklet with a lovely old piece of string.
The front cover tells us that the documents related to the sale of a horse to a 'Madame Veuve Bascol' and is dated '20. Juin 1867'. The handwriting on this and each of the sheets inside is incredibly beautiful. The pages inside contain details relating to the sale of the horse and signatures of all of the parties involved.
I love the tone of these old papers, the front cover is slightly worn and the documents inside are so characterful with their beautiful handwritten notes. I think they would look pretty styled on a shelf, table or old desk. They could also be framed or used to create a unique piece of wall art.
