A beautiful and unique, vintage Japanese wooden box with metal handles.
The walls of this pretty box have been painted black and there is a faded, cherry red wooden trim where the lid would have once sat. The black paint has lovely scuffs and marks and one side of the box has three beautiful, vintage paper prints stuck on it, which are just perfectly weathered and worn. Two of the prints are beautiful, faded Japanese sketches and one appears to be a print of a photograph. Each have small tears and little holes and crumpled edges which give the box such a lovely character.
This lightweight box could be put to so many uses in your home; it would be a great place to store linens, magazines, books and so on. It has such a lovely ethereal character and would make a great piece of decorative storage in any interior.
