Beautiful, metal stencils that were once used to embroider monogram's and other decorative motifs onto French linen bedspreads and table cloths.
These gorgeous stencils, made from thin metal, have such a lovely, rich patina; with tarnished patches, small dents and little holes at the corners; presumably used to hold them in place on the linen.
The letters and designs are delicate and beautiful, with gorgeous swirls and pretty floral accents.
