Beautiful selection of large, weathered and worn books which are great for display. They are volumes from the Dictionary of National Biography from Abbott and Childers. Their covers have been lost to reveal wonderful character - the spines are marked with their volume number in large black lettering and each have a lovely worn and tatty feel. They would make great decorative items stacked on a shelf or as a little display area for small treasures.
The books are available separately and you can select the one(s) you would like using the drop down menu. There are two No. 5s so these have been called 'No.5' and 'No.5 rip' as one of them has a piece of the spine missing at the bottom as can be seen in the photos. They measure:
