A beautiful piece of old French religious iconography.
Lovely silver crucifix, mounted on a piece of red velvet, beneath domed glass and framed in an oval, decorative black frame. The frame is perfectly worn in a couple of places and with one or two small patches of plaster missing.
This whimsical piece has a small hook at the top so that it can be hung. It would look lovely as part of a photo gallery, as a standalone frame on an expanse of wall or maybe just resting on a mantle or shelf.
