A pretty parcel of old glass chips, wrapped in delicate, creamy paper with beautiful French handwriting, all tied up with a lovely piece of old string.
I fell in love with the rustic charm of this small parcel - the neutral tones of the paper and the string, the pretty 'label' hand-written in pencil and it's crumpled, worn feel, with the paper torn in a few places, just encapsulate everything I love about buying old pieces. This parcel was salvaged from a company which manufactured optical goods and contains a number of small, round glass chips. These could obviously still be used but for me, the beauty of this parcel would make it a perfect decorative item in your home. I think it would look lovely styled on a shelf, window sill or mantel as part of a rustic haberdashery display.
