A beautiful, old French metal sign which would have once been displayed outside an office of the 'Compagnie du Soleil Assurances', founded in 1829.
This lovely metal sign has gorgeous greeny black tones with hints of gold and has a beautiful rustic feel, as the metal has weathered and worn over the years. The edges are crumpled in places which really adds to this piece's character. There is a hole in each corner of the sign from which it could be hung. The metal has folded over one of them but this could be easily straightened out if desired.
A beautiful, weathered old sign which would make a really unique piece of wall decor or would look lovely propped on a shelf.
