This lovely, vintage wooden bucket was used to store domestic flour at a corn and seed merchants in Kent, UK. It dates from around the 1950s and still has it's original label which tells us exactly what it was used for and where.
This sturdy, pale wood bucket has bentwood 'straps' tacked on with lovely old nails at the top and bottom and a beautiful, bentwood handle which is still in working order. This great piece could be styled and used in so many different ways in your home - it would look really pretty full of your favourite dried flowers, or sitting in a fireplace as a kindling store or maybe in your kitchen to hold your most loved utensils.
