A beautiful, decorative metal Roman numeral 'IIII' or number 4, painted white and with beautiful faded patina.
This pretty, vintage cast iron number was once part of a garden game known as 'Clock Golf'. The numbers would be set into the grass around a hole and the players would hit the ball from each number, hopefully getting it into the hole. The number has two blunt spikes on the back which were once used to secure it in the ground.
It has a lovely rustic patina from years of wear and tear and would look lovely styled on a shelf. Numbers like these are great to use for special family occasions such as birthdays or if they represent a special number in your life or family.
