A beautiful, vintage, scratch built child's wooden cart from France. We have been imagining that this was built by a grandfather for a grandchild as was often the custom. The cart has a simple, rustic design with four wheels attached on two axels and a simple handle for the child to pull along. It has been painted cream which has a wonderful worn patina, with the old nail heads that hold it all together adding to it's rustic feel.
This cart is still in great working order so it could be used for it's original intention or has many decorative possibilities in the home or garden. It could be filled with little plant pots, used as a wood store or to display some of your favourite treasures. A really unique piece. It measures:
