A beautiful, vintage Chocolate Menier tin with rusty brown and gold tones.
This lovely tin, with a basket weave texture, has rusted over with age but the original gold lacquer is still visible in patches underneath, giving it a lovely patina. It has the words 'CHOCOLAT MENIER TABLETTES 15' embossed on the top and sides and would have originally contained the chocolate manufactured by the Paris based company.
The hinged lid still works so this pretty tin could be used for storage or would look lovely on a shelf or mantle as part of a vintage display.
