A beautiful, vintage, wooden spool, salvaged from a Japanese textile factory.
The wood of this rustic spool has a lovely pale, grey tone and is lightly weathered and worn. The middle sections of the spool have some beautiful, faded, handwritten Japanese script on them, no doubt noting the thread that was originally held on this piece.
This is a lovely decorative item with great character which could be used as a stand for vases or bottles or just as a stand alone, decorative piece in your home.
